200 miles in fives days. The Texas 200 2014 is in the books. There was lots of wind, very little wind, broken masts, broken rudders, capsizing, towing, and a lot of sea stories told. If I looked on Facebook once, I logged in a million times, keeping up with Scout and the Ducks. Sean and Scout had an amazing trip, and Sean came away with some wild sea stories, and a new appreciation for home built boats and the sailors that sail them.

ReplyDeleteI did have an amazing trip and met amazing people that's for sure. I was also blessed with an amazing little boat to do the trip in. You did an amazing job building Scout. I hope we made you proud....your skills, workmanship, determination, and attention to detail are what carried me nearly 200 with nary a problem. The more I get to know Scout the more your work amazes me. While the Texas 200 taxed me in a number of ways, Scout never batted an eye. She is capable of so much more. Sooner or later you are gonna sail her. That is a goal I have. :-) Thanks for everything
