MY VIDEOS

Several years ago, I got a camera that also recorded video.  About the same time, I bought a Mac Mini computer, and it came with a program called iMovie.  I started to mess around with the program and have had a great time with it.  I love to make videos, complete with soundtrack.  I have listed a few here, enjoy.

MATT LAYDEN SAILS SCOUT/TARDIS
Matt sails her on Lake Eufaula at SailOK 2014.

AIDEN'S FIRST FISH
Chuck takes Aiden fishing, Sept. 29, 2013

GULF CROSSING - 2013
I crossed the Gulf of Mexico, Jan. 2013.

TEXAS 200 2012
This was my first Texas200, and I had a blast.  I was crew for Charlie Jones on his trimaran TRAVELER.

It was great to see a Paradox in the TX200.  After the finish, Mike was gracious enough to take me out for a short sail out and back.  It inspired me to get back to work on my Paradox after a short time away from the build.

CENTEX MESSABOUT 2011
s/v SCAMP attended the Centex Messabout 2011. Designed by John Welsford and built by Mike Monies. The winds were high that day, but she handled them very gracefully. Plans can be found at:http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/index.cfm

BASTROP MESSABOUT 2010
This was my first messabout with iDuck.  I had a great time, and met some really great people.

THE BURNING OF THE LAGUNA SINK-O
This was a publicity stunt to promote the new design.  Andy Linn hauled the precut pieces from Oregan, assembled it on the beach, and then sailed it 200 miles up the Texas coast.  The glue had not cured completely when it was splashed.... it started leaking bad on the last day.  It is a very good design, and when assembled more permanently, it will give years of service.
